About my work
This showreel is made of selected works produced within a week. My intention is to showcase how many events I can cover during a single week.
I see my work as a well-balanced video production : fast and responsive upload yet high-quality content.
When I'm not on assignment for a specific live TV network, I'm not driven by the usual 'live-TV priority' rather by a 'reportage' kind of content (e.g. Social media news, weekly shows, prime-time TV journals...) by editing and uploading my production as fast as possible while keeping in mind that my work is also about archival footage, relevant not only to television journalism but also to documentary production companies. This said 'balance' was important when choosing an FS7 to work with.
Even if a political/news event provides a video stream, I'm there to capture what the event organizer does not show through the official feed but still could interest news networks.
I truly believe that my work is about making news images, providing information both within the moment and also in the future, through my archived footage.

About me
Video journalist based in central Paris, France. I am determined, fast and driven by the quality of my work.
In 2018, I signed my first contract with a photo agency, documenting French news, politics and events during three years. I am now specialized in video journalism.
I worked as a photo editor at France's leading public-service documentary platform, Arte. This experience brought me back to news images and most importantly, videos. Working there taught me how documentaries were made, where archival footage was sourced and how to think about telling stories using videos.
My work is now turned toward video-journalism, following the news wherever it takes me.
N.B. :
Due to Vimeo's restrictions, the video you're seeing is highly compressed, original footage is shot in XAVC-I 4K UHD, re-encoded in H.264.
Footage and interviews were cut for editing purposes. J/L cuts were also done for editing purposes.
Subtitles are hardcoded but could be provided in a side-car file. Translation done by myself.
